Life is not perfect, nor is it happy all the time. We all wish we could find be granted luck during the worst or roughest times. Life is going to pull you down every now and then. However, only we can choose to change how we view the outcome of a hardship. Obstacles grant us the chance to build strength and cause us to want to make changes so we can build a better life. By doing so, we will find our pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

Change begins with you making ONE small decision. You can decide to to live a stronger and happier life. Many believe chances at a happy life are rare. Personally, I like to believe the chances are given to us all the time. How we choose to perceive these opportunities is what matters most. We are defined by how well we rise after falling.

I. Am. Woman!!!

SUPERMAN = SEXY ARMS!!!!

Lay flat on your stomach with your legs and feet parallel. In the Superman position, your legs are AD-ducted (pressed together). If doing so is uncomfortable, keep your legs slightly apart but make sure they remain parallel.

Place your arms by your side.

Inhale; Contract your abdominals

Exhale; extend your spine off the mat

***When extending up, lead with the top of your head. In other words, be careful not to tilt your head back and overextend your neck.

Inhale; hold your position

Exhale; extend back down to the mat

To challenge your triceps, you will need 2lb-5lb exercise balls.

Inhale; Contract your abdominals

Exhale; extend into the Superman position with exercise balls in your hands and lift your arms off the mat.

For 5 counts, inhale and pulse your arms upward

For another 5 counts, exhale and continue to pulse upward

Your Body is a Temple

Your Body is a TempleWhy do you exercise? Why do you prefer one type of workout over another? We exercise because after completing the intense accomplishment, we feel a release of endorphins. In other words, a rush of joy. Building a workout goal is important, but feeding your body with negative energy will cause either little to zero results, OR no results at all.

You might think you are only alternating your body, but you are also alternating your mind. After seeing the desired results, you feel better about yourself. Afterwards, you begin to desire to reach for better and stronger results. You don’t just want a good body, you want a KILLER body. Your mind convinces you of all of these desires.

Pilates is a form of exercise that feeds your mind happy, healthful thoughts, which spreads throughout your body. It is a type of exercise that trains your mind to control your body. You become more familiar with HOW your body should perform the exercise, along with proper breathing, and concentration.  After this realization, that rush of joy is released and you want to reach for a bigger challenge. You want to reach for IMPROVEMENT. If your mind is filled with a positive outlook on life, you will notice results occurring at a faster pace.

Place your hands on the outside of your shoulders and keep your elbows by your side

**Be careful not to lift your neck, or elevate your shoulders. As you push up, feel your shoulders pushing down your back. That means you are using your arms to lift you up; not your shoulders
